The Flying Cake by Amber Williams
Once upon at time there was 2 girls and 1 boy called Codie , Paige and Will who were 9 years old.They were going to move house to a forest.It was all gloomy and dark the cottage. It was surrounded by damp trees . They went into house it was all rusty and damp . Codie went into the fridge it had milk out of date and smashed eggs also the orange juice was leaking so Codie walked off. Paige went to look at her bedroom because she was tired after the long car drive she went to her bed and it was all hard and it had no springs because it was broken . will went into the garage to get a ball but instead it was a old orange so he went a way .Codie , Paige and Will all bumped into each other and said “WHY DID WE HAVE TO COME TO THIS DAMP,DIM COTTAGE ITS RUBBISH!”Mum came into the room hearing the shouting and said”what is this screaming and shouting about”.nothing mother we were just singing to are favorite song called Roar from Katie Perry. “OK then I was just going to ask you if you would like to have a play outside tomorrow and have a look at all the glorious trees” said mum. The girls said “yes we will love to” but will did’t talk and say yes he just stood there and shook his head. Paige was very curious about will so she took Will and Paige upstairs and said “you are not usually like this Will. Will showed the girls a fiction book about trees and oped it and then turned to the page he wanted to showed them a page about a magic tree in are forest we were in. “So this is why are quiet” whispered Codie ” yes and there are goblins in the tree” said Will.
